El Potrero New Years 2004-2005

The big hairy audacious goal for this trip was Time Wave Zero, a 23 pitch mega bolted 5.9-5.10 climb that was awesome. Jon Neace and I did it in 7 hours up and 3 hours down (rap same route). Sharp incut holds and some runouts but on good holds.

Came back to a rockn' New Years Eve party that resembled the Burning Man's festival with bonfires, conga dancing, dirty dancing, tequila. At midnight the peaks lit up with climbers shining their headlamps towards the bonfires and the crowd went wild.
