with their dead ancestors so they can be united after death.
Ellis Island Database - Records of immigrants passing through the New York port (1892-1924; about 22 million names). Lots of Endrizzis and lots of people from Val d' Non.
Rootsweb - user contributed family tree information (about 370 million names)
Trentino Heritage - Sal Romano's Trentini site focusing on the villages of Cunevo, Flavon, and Terres. The site also looks at migration to the mines of Colorado, and has a guestbook where you can post your comments.
Cyndi's List - a master list of links to various genealogy sites.
Ancestry.com - ($$$) a commercial site that has all of the U.S. Census information from the 1700s until 1930. They have some other data as well, but it is minor compared to census data. Not great for international research, but great for tracking U.S. heritage. You can even get statistics on your surname.
