Dan, I'm the guy from Wisconsin who ended up with your insurance
bill. By the way, no, we do not have AAA. At any rate, I have
forwarded your info to my father, Gilbert, who is the master of our
branch of the Endrizzis. I suspect you will be hearing from him
soon. Dan Endrizzi

Ciao!! My father Tullio Viola is from CavedagO (married my mother
Rosemarie Odorizzi -from Sanzenone -in Tassullo 1960. My dad passed
away 1.2007. My paternal grandparents were Irene Daldoss and Augusto
Viola. I have very fond memories of summers in la Val di Non and I
try to speak Italian to my daughters as much as possible!! I speak
fluent "nonnis", but only a few are left who do!! This
website has been a terrific aide in researching my father's family!
thanks for all the hard work in entering the data! PS my parents
were both past presidents of the Club Trentino in NY where there are
many Endrizzi's!!!

Ciao
Scusa se scrivo in Italiano, ma non sò l'inglese. Come vedi sono un
Endrizzi anch'io e vivo a Cavedago. è sempre bello vedere che c'è
qualcuno che si ricorda delle sue origini e ha voglia di farle
conoscere ad altri, io sono ritornato su passi dei miei avi e sono
tornato a vivere in questo paese sei anni fà. Un saluto dal
Cavedago. Ciao

Emma Endrizzi
Hi Dan: What a great web site. Just a little history: My
father-in-law Guiseppe Endrizzi was born in Cavedago, December 25,
1901. He married Santina Viola, born May 10, 1908, also from
Cavedago in 1930. Guiseppe first arrived in America in 1917 and
worked in the coal mines of Virginia. He returned to Italy to marry
Santina and they emigrated to Brooklyn, N.Y. around 1930. My
husband, Henry, is the son of Guiseppe and Santina. We live in
Florida. I can't believe there is another Emma Endrizzi living in
France, what a coincidence.

Emma, I had to laugh at your email. All the spellings you cited have
been attributed to me. I love my name. Always thank my mother for
letting me keep it. I think my Grandfather came from Torino. Sadly,
I have no clue as to my history. Sadly, the name will pass on after
I go. Ernest E Endrizzi Boulder, CO

Thank YOU!
Hello Dan! I have been searching the spread sheet for my grandfather
from Spormaggiore. He moved to Rochester after WWI, his brother
Lindo lived in Washington State. Giuseppe traveled to Milwaukee
often in the 1940s and that is where he met my grandmother, Justina.
We know very little about them because they both died when my dad
was very little. If you happen to have anymore info, please let me
know! Thanks Dan!

Mrs.
Hi, I stumbled across your website looking for info on Cavedago
Italy (knowing my mothers family originated from there). I am not
certain of the direct bloodline, but I am a relative. My mother is
very much into our family history. In looking at your photos, I know
I have heard her talk about several of the family members shown. My
mother is Margaret Halterman Cook. Her mother was Clara (Ciara)
Endrizzi of West Virginia. That is probably the best I can do to at
the moment. The older I have gotten the more interested I have
become in our family history. My mom is a great source. I have a lot
to learn. But it is wonderful finding new relatives.

Thanks all!
I love all the feedback. Sorry I don't write in more often, but
gotta raise rug rats - more Endrizzis ya know! Keep signing the
guestbook! Oh, and if you want to share your family trees, let me
know. To Sharon Zeni, I looked up your great grandma. It looks like
she was born in 1835, married Giovanni Zeni in 1859 and had 8 kids.
I have descent lines for Palma Irene, Maria Carolina, and Giovanni
Celestina Zeni. This info is in the Cavedago download if you want to
hunt around. Otherwise contact me - I can probably get you a print
off of the family tree...

California descendents...
My great-great-grandmother was Catarina Endrizzi from Cavedago,
Italy. I don't know her husbands name, but he was a Zeni. She
immigrated to the United States in 1901, bringing with her my
great-grandmother, Filomena Leonardelli, from Spormaggiore, as a
bride for my great-grandfather, Edwino Zeni. Catarina passed away in
1922 at the age of 88. My aunt has been doing a little research into
our family tree, and has discovered that we are descended from the
Endrizzi's, the Zeni's, the Clamer's, and the Leonardelli's in the
Cavedago/Spormaggiore area. If you are planning on a family reunion
soon, our last Zeni family reunion had over a hundred members from
Sonoma and Mendocino County California alone. :D So you better get
out the BIG polenta pot. ;)
