Hi Daniel

My name is Mario Osti and we are definitely related.

I was born in Spormaggiore in 1944 and now live in Tortonto, Ontario, Canada. Your great-great grandparents Luigi Osti and Maria ( Flabbi ) were my grandparents. I was really amazed when I saw their picture in your photo gallery. It is the same picture that I have of them.

I also remember Varisto who is also in your photo gallery because he was married to my aunt Zizza ( Osti ) but can't recall if Giulia was his daughter and I believe he had another daughter that lives in Montreal. Once again i vaguely remember Germano but the memeory is very fuzzy.

I would really like to hear more from you.

Regards

Mario

Dan,

You are my favorite brother and you do great work. Seriously, this is an awesome site. I'm especially impressed with your taking the time to scan Morman records with a camera and transcribe all the data into a spreadsheet.

Life is good up here in New England. For those reading this site, I married Susan Elizabeth Ingraham, who is a direct descendant of Mary Dyer-the last person hung in the Boston Commons for religious heresy. Our daughter's name is Sonya Maria Endrizzi and our second child will be born in late June, 2006 (God willing).

Keep up the good work!
Matt

My grandfather "Oreste Endrizzi" was a brother to your greatgrandfather, Guistino Endrizzi. I just happened to put the name Endrizzi on the web and found yours. I will write again very soon. I have a lot of information. My
great grand parents went to West Virginia! I will write again very soon.
It is getting late and I must go to bed

Well, I thought we might be related through the Faustino Endrizzi/ Fortunata Daldoss line, but I cant' find my great-grandmother's name, Anna Francesca, who would be their daughter. She married an Enrico Tanel. I am their great-grandaughter. If you run across anything with that name, please let me know!

Thanks,

Dan!
Hello, it is Jenni, your cousin, a Reinke in name, but an Endrizzi in heart.
Well, I just wanted to tell you how wonderful this website is! Wherever I go, I will be able to, in a sense, introduce people to my family...
I love the recipe section. I didn't realize an article had been written about Nonna in 1982, when her recipes were in much demand by her and Nonno's "three children, their children's spouses and their three grandchildren." (I was only one...how did they know then that I would want her recipes?) Do you think you could add her gnocchi recipe to the list?
love ya,
Jenni

Hello from the mountains of Leadville, Colorado. My grandfather, Guido Endrizzi, came from Cavedago and ultimately settled in Milwaukee. My mother, Mabel, was the youngest of eight children. She and my Uncle Curly (Marino Endrizzi) are the last two surviving children. My grandpa's wife, Constantina, also from Cavedago I believe, died before my parents (Tom and Mabel Klinker) married in 1945; of course, I never knew her. In childhood, I absolutely adored polenta, and my grandfather made it many times. I still have the polenta stick (glava?) he carved for me when I was in about Grade 5. Having moved to Colorado in 1972, I can't help but wonder if my grandpa worked in the mines here in Leadville. I only know he was in Colorado briefly, and no records that I have seen indicate his being so. Many people of northern Italian descent still live here in Leadville. I plan to send my mom much of the information from your website. So glad I looked! Sincerely, Mary E.Martin

Ciao,
Has anyone ever thought of contacting every Endrizzi they know (whether related or not) and having a full-on Endrizzi family reunion somewhere. I think that would be awesome!! Could you imagine the stories? I am from Minnesota and have heard of many Endrizzi's from Wisconsin and Michigan so the drive would be tolerable for everyone. Well worth the effort don't you think?
James J. Endrizzi son of Jerry, son of David.

PS: Awesome site!! I'm impressed.
